Grown Ups 2 (2013)

Grown Ups 2 is no different from any of Adam Sandler’s “classic” comedies of 2010, which is mostly marked by lame catchphrases, goofy voices, and gross-out humor. While these elements have their audience, Grown Ups 2 relies heavily on them, making it void of the intended humor. A few minutes into this “comedy movie” viewers are greeted with a CGI deer peeing all over Adam, standing on two legs. That was all it took to turn the TV off.
Gold Diggers (2003)

This movie gives National Lampoon’s expertise a solid whack on the face with a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and the eleventh-lowest-rated on Metacritic. The plot centers on two friends who marry older women intending to inherit their estates after their demise. The vileness of the main characters, crass humor, and low production quality contributed to its rating as one of the worst comedies to grace the screen.
Freddy Got Fingered (2001)

There is only one word to summarize Green’s attempt at comedy with this film – gross. It follows a struggling cartoonist who, after failing to get his animated show accepted by Hollywood executives, resorts to telling jarring lies about his dad who does not approve of his career path. It felt more like a prank with the producers throwing everything at the wall hoping one would stick. Gigli (2003)

You should know that Ben Affleck’s career as a director did not recover from the aftermath of Gigli. Yes! He has not directed any movie in 23 years. One would wonder why such a movie that centers on the kidnapping of a psychologically challenged brother of a powerful federal prosecutor and features great minds and actors would come out this bad, Watchmojo thinks it was due to the actors’ lack of interest and its offensive humor.
Because I Said So (2007)

This movie about a mother’s attempts to hitch her daughter with the perfect man, “manages to be offensive and yet dull and predictable,” notes Nell Minow a top critic at Rotten Tomato. Because I said so has a 4% rating on the platform. Critic consensus says it relies overtly on caricature, is filled with cliches, and lacks both humor and human insights.
Serving Sara (2002)

Jim Miller and Dan Halsted likely had high hopes for Serving Sara as a blend of comedy and romance that focuses on a process server hired to serve a British socialite with divorce papers but is persuaded to serve her husband instead. Material Girls (2006)

Good Luck Chuck (2007)

This was supposed to be a romantic comedy story of a dentist’s struggle to find a woman to love. The nuance of romance and comedy seems to fly above the head of this film as it bags a 5% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. think it is dispirited, boring, and relies so much on shopworn slapstick.
The Hottie and The Nottie (2008)

The only purpose this movie achieved was to bolster Paris Hilton’s vanity. Nothing More. Hottie and Nottie a movie about Nate deciding if he wants to rekindle his love for his high school lover or her friend is ineptly staged, predictable, and crass and its attempt at humor is bland and vulgar according to Rotten Tomatoes.
Some Kind of Beautiful (2014)

A romance/comedy movie centered on a woman falling in love with a college professor who doubles as her kid sister’s baby daddy should have been nothing short of beautiful, but the the director and producer missed both marks on comedy and romance It has a 6% rating on Rotten Tomato and critics think it was embarrassing.
B.A.P.S (1997)

The attempt at comedy in B.A.P.S which is a story of two Black American Princesses moving to LA and auditioning for a music video in a bid to climb the social ladder was a failed attempt at comedy. MovieWeb describes it as “jaw-droppingly bad”. Viewers also found the exaggeration and stereotype of black women in this movie more offensive than satirical or comedic.
Baby Geniuses (1999)

For a film to resonate, its fictitious elements should have some grounding with reality. Baby Geniuses, a movie about babies who can speak coherently, scheme, and fight karate was rather creepy and boring with no pinch of comedy to the audience than humorous.
Deuce Bigalow European Gigolo (2005)

A sequel to Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo released in 1999. This movie about Deuce returning to the gigolo game to save TJ is ranked worse than the former. Roger Ebert criticized the film for feeling forced, mocking the disabled and elderly, and being laden with racial and stereotypical scenes, which no one finds funny both then and now.
One Woman or Two (1985)

A French Woman aspiring to receive a research grant from an impersonating businesswoman would have been a thrilling plot. Yet, this movie ruined its chances of getting most of the viewers to laugh. According to Roger Ebert, the movie’s overemphasis on the foolishness of the characters without balancing seriousness and shenanigans shattered the potential of this film.
Down To You (2000)

Viewers waited in vain for this movie about two college students navigating the challenges facing their relationship to pick up and deliver the laughs promised by its genre, but that moment never arrived. By the time the credits rolled, it was clear that the film had missed the mark entirely. The 3% rating on Rotten Tomatoes proves its lackluster execution and uninspired script, both of which were widely criticized by reviewers.
